Kayla is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics and licensed in the state of Florida. Kayla completed a 2-year residency program in Diagnostic Medical Physics at the University of Chicago in 2021. She received her Master’s degree in Medical Physics from the University of Florida in 2013 and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2018. Kayla specializes in the evaluations of Computed Tomography, Mammography, Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Ultrasound equipment. She also specializes in structural radiation shielding designs, radiation protection surveys, and patient dose reconstructions.
